1.0 KVIrc Introduction

What is KVIrc?: KVIrc is not eatable but it is a multi language, graphical IRC chat client for Windows, Linux, Unix and MacOS. Is free of charge, easy to use and a real highlight for beginners, amateurs, and professionals like to chill on IRC experience. KVIrc has more features than you can think of, it has a highly configurable graphical user interface, support for DCC, drag & drop, a own graphical emoticon and avatar system, a built-in scripting language named KVS for extensions, addons, scripts and much more, supports custom plug ins and is nearly a desktop environment on its own. KVIrc securely encrypting communication between channel, query and DCC Chat with Blowfish or AES / Rijndael. KVIrc is able to connect to several servers at the same time, optional with SSL and / or IPv6. Unicode, ISO-8859-*-Codes, Asian and windows-native char sets are supported. A special feature is the smart encoding, which allows you to use 2 encodings at the same time; you can send unicode and read unicode and cp-1252 for example.
